Vallarta Yacht Club invites you to participate in Vallarta Yacht Club WesMex 2012 to be held March 11-18. Now in its seventh year, the WesMex International Regatta will be the site of the Optimist and Laser eliminations to select the best team to represent Mexico in various World youth competitions. This year, the date of WesMex has been changed to coincide with Copa Mexico 2012, two weeks of celebration of sailing and sport in beautiful Banderas Bay. Also this year, we are honored to welcome the Mexican Navy's fleet of 420 dinghies.
Vallarta Yacht Club is located just 6 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta airport and is an easy flight from most major Mexican and US cities. Located within Paradise Village Resort (www.paradisevillageresort.com), this venue offers a most convenient locale for family vacations while participating in this great event.
